The last couple weeks have been quite busy. Last weekend I took a cake decorating class at Sur La Table. I have always wanted to learn cake decorating for some reason. I am not sure I am patient enough for it though. I made cupcakes this weekend and the frosting was to wet for piping and instead of fixing it… I got annoyed and have ugly cupcakes. I think the key is to do it in steps and plan it. Anyway, I am considering taking more classes so I can learn more about frosting and such.

I am taking a class at UW which starts on March 27th. That means I can buy SCHOOL SUPPLIES! How exciting is that? Everyone loves new school supplies…

I have been recruited to do wedding photos for an up and coming family weekend. It concerns me a little since I am not really the best at people pictures. They want traditional pictures instead of modern I guess. I might need to get a bigger flash. I should probably see how much that might be. It should be interesting at least.

I finally got on the list for volunteering at PICC - Pediatric Interim Care Center. It is a newborn nursery for babies born addicted to drugs. I am going on March 22 to start the process. I am pretty excited. I use to work with drug addicted babies when I was a volunteer at OHSU in Portland.
